"So, today, [in] a lot of the camps, most UN officials and Lebanese sources would say up to 50% of the people in the camps are children." - Dr Kylie Baxter
Kylie Baxter Kylie Baxter's PhD explored the experience of a London-based pan-Islamist organization, al-Muhajiroun. This organization was active between the mid-1990s and 2004 and provided a compelling insight into the difficulties associated with the propagation of an Islamist perspective in a Western nation-state. Currently, Dr Baxter's research focus is on the Arab-Israeli conflict and Palestinian politics.

comment
All together a very well informed presentation by Ms. Kylie Baxter. However, the host Ms. Jacky Angus took a very biased position, which was dissapointing to see given that she is the host!!
balanced approach
I have to say I found the podcast to be quite balanced on the whole. I believe it's the host's responsibility to challenge the guest a bit, particularly on such a vexed topic, and that is just what she did.
